Congratulations to Ashley and Josh !!  Ashley, daughter of our manager, Debra Sargent, brings us our best news and the happiest event of the year for everyone involved with Carolina Moon Stables. Ashley, an accomplished show rider and instructor, is widely known in Saddlebred show circles in the Carolinas, in the tradition of her mother and her grandfather, the late Roy Bell.

Ashley now is ...  !!

Mrs. Joshua Jon Warrior

She and Josh were married October 9, 2010 at Gowensville Baptist Church in Landrum, and after their wedding  trip will be at home in  Conway SC, where they both work with Campus Outreach, a nondenominational campus ministry.

All of us share the couple’s excitement, and wish them the very best in their new life together.

JOUST FOR FUN

Sometimes we do things “Joust for Fun” ! Carolina Moon Stables was very pleased to be invited to be a part of a festive day (30 Oct ’10) at the Riverbend Equestrian Park in Greenville County.

The main event (left column) was the Joust For Fun fund-raiser sponsored by  a local Rotary Club in support of their First Knight program, training area school-children in the ideals needed by modern knights for successful life.

CMS demonstrated events seen at an American Saddlebred horse show, and  three other groups demonstrated some of the many other ways to enjoy horses.

Congratulations and thanks to the Rotary Club and Riverbend Equestrian Park for providing a beautiful day of  horse fun  for all who attended  !!
