Show-ring driving involves
presenting the horse and its skills to best advantage, whether in
performance, pleasure, or roadster divisions. By

Want to learn to ride ? Or drive? Whether it’s just for fun or whether you
want to show, Carolina Moon Stables can take you all the way! Riding
Instruction Beginner
through Advanced All Lessons
are Private except when groups of no more than 4 horse and rider teams are
formed for learning specific elements or for show ring practice. A
lesson session lasts 30-45 min. Especially
for beginners, that time may include grooming, ground handling, general
safety instruction; saddling and bridling, etc. Our
lesson horses are well-seasoned registered American Saddlebreds. Horse owners
may elect to ride their own horses during lessons. |
Saddleseat is
the style of riding used in the show ring, as well as English pleasure
riding. It emphasizes correct
posture for balance and contact with the horse, all with a primary emphasis
